Christmas may be over, but Annmarie Garden is still twinkling away with its Annmarie Garden In Lights, a magical tour that takes visitors of all ages on a beautiful journey through the glittering woods. As you walk along the protected path, you will be transported to a fantastical place of spectacular lights and amazing “light sculpture.”

This exhibit is free to members and children, and thanks to a sponsorship from The College of Southern Maryland, on January 3, admission will be free to active duty military with identification and their immediate family members.

Military Night at Annmarie Garden in Lights will be open from 6 to 9 pm Jan. 3 and, weather permitting, will feature jazz, blues and pop music from Lissi Deere, lights in the shape of mythical beasts, airplanes, dinosaurs and wild animals, a holiday cafe and other exhibits.

“We are grateful to those in our community who serve our country and we’re excited to provide them with an opportunity to come and enjoy this wonderful annual event with their spouses and children,” said CSM Vice President, Prince Frederick Campus, Dr. Richard Fleming, who is a military veteran and president of Ann’s Circle with Annmarie Sculpture Garden Arts Circle.

Regular admission is $6 for ages 5 years and older. For information on the Garden in Lights, visit http://www.annmariegarden.org or call (410) 326-4640. As a community partner, CSM participates in and supports events happening throughout Southern Maryland. For information on the college, visit www.csmd.edu.
