Soak Up the Fun @ SpongeBob Musical
Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical is the next performance by The Newtowne Players. The show will run from July 10 – August 2, 2026, at Three Notch Theatre in Lexington Park.
When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world! This exciting new musical featuring irresistible characters and magical music, this deep-sea pearl of a show is set to make a splash with audiences young and old.
The SpongeBob Musical is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals. The play is based on the series by Stephen Hillenburg.
The theater is at 21744 S. Coral Drive in Lexington Park, MD.
Show times will be Thursdays-Saturdays 8pm and Sundays 3pm.
