‘Tis the Farmers Market Season
St. Mary’s County farmers markets are open for the 2026 season.
The three county-sponsored farmers markets offer a variety of locally produced goods, including fresh seasonal produce, locally raised meats and seafood, flowers, baked goods, handmade products, local wines and spirits, and much more. These markets provide aa opportunity to support local farmers, watermen, and small businesses while enjoying the best products the community has to offer.
Home Grown Farm Market at 21078 Three Notch Road in Lexington Park
- Open year-round
- Hours: Saturdays from 9am to 1pm
The Barns at New Market at 29133 Thompson Corner Road in Mechanicsville
- Open April 1 through October 31
- Hours: Saturdays from 9am to 3pm (inside and outside), and Monday – Saturday from 9am to 4pm (limited outside vendors)
California Farmers Market in the BAE parking lot at 22810 Three Notch Road in California
- Open May 2 through November 21
- Hours: Saturdays from 9am to 12:30pm
