M.O.G. Seeks Participants for Pre-Diabetes Study

Free 3-Month Gym Membership Offered

The Medically Oriented Gym (M.O.G.) at Gateau Physical Therapy will be conducting a new study beginning on March 22, 2016, to examine the impact of exercise on those diagnosed with pre-diabetes.

Prior to the study, each participant will receive a comprehensive fitness assessment that includes medical history and collection of biometric data (height, weight, waist circumference, BMI, body fat percentage and VO2 max). The participant receives an individualized exercise program designed by an exercise physiologist, a free three-month M.O.G. membership, safety instructions on all fitness equipment, and a 90-day re-assessment at the end of the program.

Progress notes to your doctor can be provided if requested.

In order to qualify, you must have a diagnosis of pre-diabetes (confirmed by your medical doctor in writing) and be able to commit to exercise at least three days per week in a mild to moderate intensity exercise program for three months. A medical release from your physician is required.

Participation is limited to 25 participants. Call Keri at 301-866-5444.
