Can You Make $10k in One Day?
The College of Southern Maryland’s Interactive Media Coordinator, Marika Taylor, monitored social media as she engaged donors participating in the CSM Foundation’s #GivingTuesday online fundraiser earlier this month.
CSM raised $9,706 for programs and scholarships during the 24-hour event, with $7,606 coming from online donations to the Razoo fundraising website and $2,100 raised offline. The foundation finished the event in 20th place out of 23,498 nonprofits who participated using the Razoo website.
Razoo is an online fundraising tool that has raised upwards of $140 million, and opens up donor opportunities to more people.
