School Age Care Registration Now Open

Registration for the St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation & Parks School Age Care program is open.

SAC is a fun and safe before- and after-school care program that offers a variety of hands-on activities and recreational experiences for kids. The SAC program is licensed through the Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care.

SAC program locations for the 2026-2027 school year are:

• Chesapeake Public Charter School
• Duke Elementary
• Evergreen Elementary
• Leonardtown Elementary
• Lettie Dent Elementary
• Hollywood Recreation Center (Serving Hollywood Elementary and Teens After School)

Online registration is available by visiting www.stmaryscountymd.gov/Recreate and selecting “Online Registration” to view the catalog. SAC registration is located on the “Youth & Teens” tab.

In-person registration will also be available at the R&P main office in Leonardtown. A one-time deposit per family is required to secure your child’s spot for the upcoming school year.
