Wallops space program is back on track, the facility “new” after repairs completed 14 months after a rocket explosion demolished much of it, reports DelmarvaNow.  Detailing the damage, The Baltimore Sun quotes Bill Wrobel, director of the facility for NASA, “It has been a monumental task getting it back together.”

Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) threatens to block a Navy nomination to force the service to reconsider its decision not to discipline RADM Brian L. Losey, Commander, Naval Special Warfare Command. Pentagon investigators found RADM Losey illegally retaliated against subordinates he believed to be whistleblowers. The Navy has not disciplined him.

There are plenty of obstacles to overcome, but Cuba and the United States reached an agreement that will allow US commercial flights to Cuba, reports the Washington Post. Currently cumbersome charter aircraft is the only way for US citizens to reach the island, and only under specific circumstances.
