Walden’s Board of Directors thanks its sponsors for a second successful Starlit Night fundraiser, Shining a Light on Hope.

The evening at Old Breton Inn drew dozens of supports to Walden’s fundraiser filled with strolling entertainment and fellowship to bolster the  budget for the nonprofit agency’s services. Walden has served the behavioral health needs of Southern Maryland for more than 40 years.

Sponsors included:

Three Star, $1,000 sponsors: Millison Development Co., Chesapeake Education, John Felictas & Christine Wray, Smartroix, Credible, Blazer Enterprises, Whitten Laser Eye, MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, Alion Science & Technology.

Two Star $500 sponsors include the Printing Press, SMECO, Wyle, Old Line Bank, Cherry Cove Development, and the Warren family.

One Star $250 sponsors include Imagine One, Chesapeake Wholesale, Leonardtown High School Honor Society, WM Davis, Gay Distributing, Burch Oil, Tri-County Abstract.

The Apple Basket, Blair’s Jewelry, Cafe’ Des Artistes, Coffee Quarter, Giant, Jane Watkins, Panera Bread, Pot Belly Deli, and Sweet Frog all donated items for the silent auction.

Walden was founded in 1973, and today stands at the fore of behavioral health treatment, education, and family support services. Their comprehensive array of behavioral health services continue to change lives for the better.
