See Artists in Action at Annmarie

Artists in Action

Guests and artists at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center in Solomons will have a unique experience for several weeks as Artists in Action: Temporary Studio Experience comes to the gallery.

Artists will have temporary studios in the main gallery each day from 10 am to 5 pm Jan. 20, 2017, through March 1. The temporary studios will provide a serene retreat and experimental space for artists to develop new works, sell and display their work, network with other artists and share their creative process with other artists and visitors.

Guests can see the artists work in these temporary studios. Participants can watch, learn, interact and, in some cases, even become engaged in an art project. All of the participating artists have been asked to create a hands-on experience for guests.

The artists might invite guests to experiment with materials and/or the artistic process, or the artists might design a collaborative work of art that guests will help create.
