Capt. Stephen Schmeiser, commander of Naval Air Station Patuxent River, will hand over command of the base to his successor next week. On Monday, he sat down with local reporters to answer questions about his career, retirement, accomplishments and time at Pax River. This is the first of five videos taken from that interview in which Schmeiser answers questions about his future plans and delivers a parting message to the sailors on base.
