Up the road to the bridge and back down St. George Island, MD 3 p.m. Oct. 29, 2012.  Hurricane Sandy not raising this afternoon’s tide as high as yesterday’s. But a lot more wind and still accelerating.

As Hurricane Sandy moved closer to the Potomac River west winds came up the shore at Tall Timbers, MD.

The situation was less threatening on Colton’s Point, but the choppy water is beginning to rise.
