The Southern Maryland Innovation & Technology Initiative announces another local visit from Pitch Across Maryland where you are offered a free opportunity to pitch your innovative product, service, or idea to investors with serious cash to help you teach the next step
This is your chance to enter this year’s Pitch Across Maryland Contest.
Each year StartUp Maryland volunteers travel the State professionally videotaping individuals pitching their concept, product or service. The videos are judged and eight finalists selected to pitch live at the Maryland Technology Development Corporation’s annual Entrepreneurs Expo in November.
The winner of Pitch Across Maryland is automatically entered into the InvestMD Challenge with $100,000 awarded in at least 4 categories and doors opened to ongoing investor support. Now, that should sound mighty good to any startup!
There’s no cost to enter the opportunity to pitch your innovation in 3 to 4 minutes n the privacy of the studio on the bus. And your pitch video will be posted on the web to be seen by thousands.
The Pitch Across Maryland bus rolls into St. Mary’s County on Thursday, September 17. The public is invited to attend. Click Here to Register to pitch your innovation in the contest. Then, meet us at Elements Eatery and Mixology in Lexington Park, MD at 4:30 pm. Plan on staying to enjoy the fun and cheer on the other contestants until about 6 pm. Need some more information?
