Map Details MD Capital Budget By County

An interactive map showing Fiscal 2015 State Capital Budget information by county is now available on MACo’s website.

Andrea Mansfield posted the map on Conduit Street, The Maryland Association of Counties’ information clearinghouse blog about government affairs across the Maryland.

The map originates  under the “Research” tab, “Budget & Finance” and allows you to click on a specific county to see how much funding the jurisdiction is receiving for projects through the State’s Capital Budget. Funding is shown grouped by the following categories:

• Economic Development
• Education
• Health and Environment
• Other
• Public Safety and Safer neighborhoods
• Transportation

The enacted Capital Budget for Fiscal 2015 totals $3.6 billion. Be sure to check this interactive map to track State capital project spending by county for Fiscal 2016 when available at the end of the next legislative session.
