Naval Air Station Patuxent River is advising surrounding communities that noise-generating testing is scheduled to take place Saturday, Sept. 22.

The base requires low-level jet aircraft flight operations in order to conduct calibration testing with ground based equipment. Testing is scheduled to begin between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these operations.
