It’s Going To Be Noisy For The Next Month

Communities surrounding the naval air station are advised that noise-generating test events are scheduled to take place from 05/12/2011 to 06/20/2011. Low-level flight testing will occur during daylight hours (0700 – 2000). One continuous hour of flight will be required per test event. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these test operations. As with all operations, NAS Patuxent River takes precautions to lessen the impact of testing and training activities on the community. For more information call 1-866-819-9028.
