Hospital Auxilliary’s Holiday Bazaar Coming Oct. 26

MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to once again host its holiday bazaar. This year’s annual event will be held on Friday, Oct. 26. The public is invited and all proceeds benefit the hospital.
The popular event features a host of items to fulfill your holiday gift list, including beautiful handmade items, such as quilts, crocheted blankets and more. Other items that will be available include homemade baked goods, holiday decorations, floral arrangements and wreaths.
The silent auction features a week in a condominium in Williamsburg, Va. Call-in bids will be accepted on the day of the event only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The winner will be announced at the close of the bazaar. The bazaar is also your last chance to purchase tickets to win a quilt that was made by hospital associates in Health Connections and Women’s Health & Family Birthing Center. They completed the quilt last fall and donated it to the Auxiliary to raise funds. Join us for your chance to win this beautiful quilt.
Over the past two decades, the Auxiliary has given countless hours and monetary donations for vital hospital improvements all to benefit the community, patients and hospital employees. These volunteers raise funds for MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital through a variety of venues. Proceeds from the group’s events and activities help to purchase medical equipment and to support numerous programs at the hospital.

The bazaar will be held in the hospital’s front lobby from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the silent auction ending at 4 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 26.
