There will be a Holiday Gate Schedule for Pax River, Webster Field and NRC Solomons from Dec. 15, 2014 through Jan. 13, 2015. The schedule appears below:
NAS Patuxent River GATE 1
Gate 1 will maintain normal hours of operation (open 24/7) through the holiday. However, lane usage/configuration and sentry staffing for the morning rush hour commute during the holiday period (Dec. 15, 2014 through Jan. 13, 2015) will be as follows:
Dec. 15-19: Four inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Dec. 20-21: Normal weekend operations
Dec. 22-24: Four inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Dec. 25-26: Normal operations; no morning rush hour configuration
Dec. 27-28: Normal weekend operations
Dec. 29-31: Four inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Jan. 1: Normal operations; no morning rush hour configuration
Jan. 2: Four inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Jan. 3-4: Normal weekend operations
Jan. 5-9: Four inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Jan. 10-11: Normal weekend operations
Jan. 12-13: Four inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Jan. 14: Normal operations resume
NAS Patuxent River GATE 2
Gate 2 will maintain normal hours of operation (open 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays & closed weekends and holidays) during the holiday period (Dec. 15 through Jan. 13). Lane usage/configuration and sentry staffing will be as follows:
Dec. 15-19: Three inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Dec. 20-21: Closed for weekend
Dec. 22-24: Three inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Dec. 25-28: Closed for holiday and weekend
Dec. 29-31: Three inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Jan. 1: Closed for holiday
Jan. 2: Three inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Jan. 3-4: Closed for weekend
Jan. 5-9: Three inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Jan. 10-11: Closed for weekend
Jan. 12-13: Three inbound lanes; each inbound lane will have one sentry
Jan. 14: Normal operations resume
NAS Patuxent River GATE 3
Gate 3 will maintain normal hours of operation (open from 5:30-8:30 a.m. for inbound and outbound traffic, and from 3:30-5 p.m. for outbound traffic only) during the holiday period. Gate 3 is closed weekends and holidays. Gate 3 will also be closed Dec. 24. For morning traffic, Gate 3 will have one sentry per inbound lane.
WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD
Webster Outlying Field Main Gate will be open and staffed as normal through the holiday period.
The Back Gate for Webster will be closed Dec. 15 through Jan. 13. It will reopen and resume normal operations Jan. 14.
NRC SOLOMONS
The Navy Recreation Center Solomons Gate will be open and staffed as normal during the holiday period.
