Take a day to play a round of golf and do some good by teeing off at the Eighth Annual Golf Tournament sponsored by the MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary. The tournament will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 9 a.m. at Breton Bay Golf and Country Club. The co-sponsor of this year’s event is MIL Corporation.

The Auxiliary tournament is a favorite county outing so get a foursome together and play a round for a good cause. All funds raised from the annual event will help support the purchase of critical equipment for MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital Emergency Department.

Registration is $100 per person and includes a round of golf, snack, beverages and a delicious lunch donated courtesy of Bear Creek Open Pit BBQ. Prizes will be awarded for winning teams, as well as a variety of contest winners, at the awards ceremony at 1 p.m.

Don’t play golf? You can still support your community hospital by becoming a sponsor. Sponsorships range from $100 through $5000. All donations are welcome and checks can be made out to St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary and mailed to Development Specialist, MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, P.O. Box 527, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
