Nightly Entertainment & Glorious New Light Sculptures

There’s still time to see Annmarie Garden In Lights this 2014-2015 holiday season. Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, MD, is open 6-9 nightly through January 3, 2015.

Admission for ages 5 and older is $6, children younger than 5, as well as Annmarie Members are FREE. A dollar-off coupon is available online.

This year there are five new spectacular light shows you cannot miss! Enjoy the Glittering Gallery Gala and experience a jazzy night at the gallery. Come learn the ABSeas of life above, below, and around the water. Check out the Vanishing Treasures and visit some of the Earth’s most cherished animals in need of preservation. Follow the path into Mixed Up Make-Believe, the land where lines are blurred between heroes, villains, magic, and superpowers. Who do you think will win these epic encounters? Of course you must stroll through the Enchanted Garden that is full of magical surprises. Once inside the Murray Arts Building take in all the entertainment and grab a snack provided by Hardesty Haven Holiday Café. Then visit the photo booth that was inspired by the classic tune, “Let it Snow!” It will enchant and inspire you with a flurry of flakes and dazzle of glimmering lights.

Sunday, Dec. 28Entertainment: Garret Music Academy – a variety of performances by Nancy Elliott’s students

 Monday, December 29Golf Cart Tours for handicap guests; Entertainment: Justin Crandall  – solo guitar performance of easy listening tunes and original music.

 Tuesday, December 30 –Discount Military Night!  $1.00 OFF admission for military (and immediate family) w/ valid ID. Entertainment: Port Tobacco Pickers –  bluegrass flute, harmonica, and recorder that breathe new life into age-old tunes.

 Wednesday, December 31Entertainment: Ben Paskoff – performs piano

 Thursday, January 1 –Pet Night!  Bring your well-behaved pet on a short leash; $1 per pet

 Friday, January 2 – Entertainment: GrooveSpan Duo – jazz, blues, folk and holiday and seasonal tunes.

 Saturday, January 3 –Last night for Garden In Lights Entertainment: Spencer Joyce – rock, blues, folk and country inspired by The Beatles, The Who, Neil Young, and more.

An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (AMG) is located in scenic Solomons, Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay. From Washington DC (about a 60 minute drive): take Route 4 South to Capital Beltway Exit 11 (to Prince Frederick). Continue on 4 South, following signs to Solomons. Left on Dowell Road at Hilton Garden Inn Annmarie is less than 1/4 mile on left.  From Baltimore (Beltway I-695):  take I-97 (Annapolis) to Route 301 South (Bowie). Continue on 301 to Route 4 and follow signs to Solomons. Left on Dowell Road at Hilton Garden Inn. Annmarie is less than 1/4 mile on left.  From Annapolis: follow Route 2 South towards Prince Frederick/Solomons. Left (South) onto Route 2/4 at Sunderland light. Left on Dowell Road at Hilton Garden Inn. Annmarie is less than 1/4 mile on left.
