Garden In Lights Brings Sparkle to the Holidays
For 23 nights this winter, Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons lights up with color and sparkle for the holiday season!
The 2015 Garden In Lights season begins Dec. 4, 2015. It is open until Jan. 2, 2016, but closed on specific nights: Dec. 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 24, and 25.
Every year, staff at Annmarie spend weeks creating original and unique handmade light sculptures, which are then scattered along a glittering wooded path. Also every year, the event adds a few new sculptures and features.
Stroll the protected wooded path and see princesses, mythical beasts, wild animals, dinosaurs, outer space, sea creatures and so much more. The path is a magical experience for all ages.
This year, there are new areas of the sculpture garden to explore. The show has been expanded and offers an exploration of the moonlit magic of the Council Ring, the Surveyor’s Map, and the Women’s Walk. Each feature is lighted and decorated for the holidays.
But it’s not just lights! Annmarie Garden In Lights is also a time to enjoy indoor entertainment, the Hardesty Haven Holiday Café, shopping in the Annmarie Gift Shop, an Ornament Show and Sale and many more things to do this winter.

An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (AMG) is located in scenic Solomons, Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay. The sculpture garden features a walking path that meanders through the forest past permanent and loaned sculpture, including more than 35 works of art on loan from the Smithsonian Institution and the National Gallery of Art.
